"Congnitive Aging, Dementia and Management"

 

A. Dean Sherzai, MD. M.A.S, is director of the Memory Disorders Clinic at the department Neurology at Loma Linda University Health Care.  Dr. Sherzai has been trained in Neurodegenerative disorders, Dementia and Geriatrics at the National Institute of Health (NIH) and the University of California, San Diego.  In addition to Doctorate in Medicine (M.D.) he holds a Masters in Advanced Science (M.A.S)

At Loma Linda Memory Disorders Clinic, their focus is on early detection of dementia and treatment through life-style change, close risk factor surveillance and treatment, as well as, symptomatic pharmaceutical treatment.  Their research is centered on the influence of lifestyle and risk factor modification, on incidence and prevalence.  As well as response of diseases that affect the mind.
