DESCRIPTION:\nJOIN US FOR THE MAY MEETING - OUR YEAR END CELEBRATION!\n \nGANGWAY FOR THE WOMEN\n \npresented by Charles MacVean, PhD.\n \nThe Estate Planning Council of San Bernardino is excited to welcome Charlie MacVean to our May meeting to celebrate another successful year. \n \nDr. MacVean will speak on the U.S. Navy’s first attempts to assign female sailors on warships in the 1970’s.  Dr. MacVean is a retired naval officer and currently serves as president of MacVean and Associates.  He received an Engineering degree from Dartmouth University while receiving his commission as an ensign in the U.S. Navy via the NROTC program.  Thereafter he received a PhD. in Nuclear Science and Engineering from Cornell University. While in the U.S. Navy, Dr. MacVean served as commander of the nuclear attack submarine USS Sea Wolf and Submarine Development Group One.  At the conclusion of his distinguished naval career, he retired to the private sector where he provides management and consulting services to various companies in both the commercial and government sectors.   \n \nFor most of us, this will be our only opportunity to hear, in person, from a retired and decorated commanding officer of a nuclear submarine.  It is our year-end celebration, so please invite your family members, as well as first-time potential members to attend.  The guest fee is waived for this meeting.\n \nWe anticipate a good crowd, so please RSVP to insure we have enough seats.  We look forward to seeing you!\n \n\n  \n \n \n \n \n
